The second edition of the “HEY! Modern Art & Pop Culture” exhibition features a number of American artists, including Joe Coleman and Joel-Peter Witkin. Although many of these works share a fascination with Boschian subject matter that is weird, grotesque, kinky and sometimes even stomach-turning, there are many pleasing discoveries, among them the intricate work of Mu Pan; Mike Davis’s interpretations of Old Master paintings; and Amanda Smith’s witty ceramic tableaux.
