The Fondation Giacometti has announced that in 2026 Paris’s Gare des Invalides will become the new home for its permanent collection of the sculptor’s work, temporary exhibitions and an art school open to all. (ARTnews)

Mehran Karimi Nasseri, a stateless and homeless Iranian who called himself “Sir Alfred” and lived in Charles de Gaulle Airport for decades, became world-famous thanks to a Steven Spielberg film. He returned to live in the airport a few weeks ago and passed away on Saturday. (The Washington Post)
