C’est Ironique Sign of the Weeque
It’s probably just the name of the family who opened the place, but every time I see this nail bar on Rue Rocher, I imagine the owner on the phone with the sign painter:
“I want to call it ‘The Beauty Nails’.”
“Okay, spell it for me to make sure there are no mistakes.”
“B – E – A – U – T – Y, then N – A – I – L – S. And you know how to spell ‘the,’ right?”
“Of course — duh!”
