SMILE: YOU’RE IN PARIS
The Paris Tourism Office isn’t giving up the good fight. For the third year in a row, it is mounting a campaign called “Paris vous sourit,” designed to present Paris as a friendly, welcoming city. Booths are being set up around the city staffed by 30 young multilingual “ambassadors,” backed up by another 100 in Métro and RER stations in July and August, to help visitors find their way and provide information on events.
